One practice before Studio 5. This one works whether you have a team or you are on your own.
The experiment
Use the Collaboration Protocol on one real task this week — team or solo. Before AI acts, name four things: intent, evidence, the role AI is playing, and the smallest verified next step.
Bring back to Studio 5:
- Your protocol card, with whatever you changed after using it.
- One AI transcript excerpt.
- One smallest verified increment.
- One moment where AI genuinely improved the thinking.
- One moment where you caught AI drifting — and what you did.
That last one matters most. Studio 5 works from real traces, and a drift you caught is more useful evidence than a session that went smoothly.
The micro-habit worth trying
Before AI acts, name intent, evidence, role, and the smallest verified next step.
It takes about twenty seconds. Notice what it changes about what comes back.
If you are working solo
Use the Individual AI Collaboration Card, attached below. It is the same protocol adapted for one person: you hold all four roles yourself, which is harder than it sounds — the Verifier is the one that quietly goes missing.
Where to capture it
Use the Collaboration Protocol pages in your Explorer Workbook, in the Studio 4 section and again under Reusable Field Artifacts. The cards attached here are the short-form versions to keep beside you while you work.
