Separate before you solve.

Studio 1 is about what happens in the few minutes before you write code — the part most of us move through without noticing.

What you will experience

You will build something quickly, with AI, from a short instruction. Then you will stop and compare what you built against what everyone else built. That comparison is the Studio.

We are not going to explain the idea first. You will have the experience, and then we will name what happened, together. If something feels ambiguous while you are working, that is the design and not a mistake. Stay in it.

What to watch for in yourself

  • The moment you decide what the problem is. It happens fast, and usually without discussion.
  • What you assumed without being told.
  • What your AI assumed without being asked.
  • Questions that occurred to you, that you quietly answered yourself instead of asking.

What you will produce

A field log of the moments where you — or your AI — jumped straight to implementation. You start it in this Studio and keep adding to it during the week. It lives in your Explorer Workbook.

Be ready before the session

  • Your AI of choice, signed in and ready to write code.
  • Your IDE of choice, open and working.
  • Your language of choice — whichever you move fastest in.
  • A new, empty project.
  • Your Explorer Workbook, open.

You will be building within the first few minutes. There is no setup time inside the session.
